This simple modification really woke up the accelerator pedal. It actually blew me away, just how lively the car has become both off the line and hard acceleration while rolling. Installation was very straightforward, and the kit included all required components to install and mount where I wanted it.

While there is still the slight hesitation the Pedal Commander has woken up my 2025 Porsche Macan. I do not have the S so this was badly needed. I have found that City +4 is a great setting for daily driving and if you want to have some fun go right for sport and get some pops and crackles. The app works great and the install was relatively easy.
While on line it states it only goes up to the 2024 Macan I can vouch that it does work in the 2025 and I get no errors. I have had it in for over a month now and waited on reviewing to get some time with it.
I am very happy and would strongly recommend it, if you want to have a fun drive that you can very easily tune from the app.

Don’t waste your money buying the Roar Pedal for your car. I thought I’d save a few bucks and start with the Roar Pedal for my 2018 Porsche Macan GTS, but didn’t like how the exponential throttle map made the car feel. After a couple of months, I bought a Pedal Commander to see if it was better. The install was straight forward and simple. I mounted it I under the steering column, so the app makes adjustments easy. I started in City mode and was thoroughly impressed! The linear throttle map of the Pedal Commander is easier to drive than the exponential map from the Roar Pedal. Anyone who drives a Macan knows the stock throttle map in normal mode is lazy and the car hesitates when you are operating at lower speeds. The Pedal Commander removed all lag from the stock throttle map and made the car much more fun to drive!

Unbelievable difference. I get that it does not technically make it faster but it is night and day more responsive when engaging the throttle. City +2 is my current setting and it seems really good for daily driving. Highly recommend.

For months I have been on the fence about buying a peddle commander, I thought, how much could it improve the throttle, well I was wrong! It is an absolute game changer! The responsiveness is great. It kind of feels like the car is lighter, smoother peddle feel all through the acceleration. I will be buying one for my wife's A5!

I have a racing license, so I am very familiar with flooring the throttle. However, on regular streets, I am a light footed driver. The Macan S suffers from terrible throttle lag that can be really dangerous when you are crossing oncoming traffic. The Pedal Commander made the throttle much more responsive, like a cable throttle. Problem solved 100%! I tried it in the highest mode and it was undriveable. It really has a big effect on the throttle response. I am pleased with the Pedal Commander and am glad I got it.

I had my doubts, but the initial tip-in was clearly changed from factory. I only installed it today and went for a small ride. I’m looking forward to using it as I sit in Boston traffic daily. So far it seems to be a great buy.

Ok, so I just got the unit installed and am very impressed with the noticeable performance change. Caveat: install was not as easy as it appears. In my case, the accelerator pedal had to be disconnected and access to the screw was very limited and difficult. Once the pedal was off, the connection of the unit was simple… and reconnecting the pedal was a bit of a challenge. Worth that caveat, the cost/ benefit analysis makes this a no-brained if your looking for better throttle response.

Both me and my wife had noticed the sluggish response to the gas our new for us 2020 Macan S stock tune had. It was slow to respond from stop and even being a powerful car, it needed being decisive to gain speed at any pace albeit using it always in Sport setting. That issue ended with the pedal Commander set in Sport +1. Now the Macan responds similar to our Audi A4 2.0t quattro b9 APR Stage 1, a less powerful but lighter car with brisk reflexes. The install was tricky, it isn't easy to place back the pedal assembly. The app via Bluetooth was simple to install, has excellent graphics and it's the easiest way to control the device. Great experience overall, as I had seen in forums and YouTube, it's how the car should have come from factory.

It really does change the way the car drives. Most of the pedal delay is gone, and the care is just easier to drive smoothe. I don't know if it really feels any faster, but it is much more enjoyable to drive.

Was slightly disappointed when I recently purchased my 21 Porsche Macan GTS as the car felt slow to respond while accelerating even in sport plus mode. I thought it was all turbo lag until I came across some YouTube videos on this product. Seeing the excitement on the faces of the reviewers I quickly ordered one. Let me just say I didn’t expect the difference that I’ve experienced so far. The acceleration is instantaneous making the car ALOT more fun to drive! Gives the illusion that the car has more horsepower. Having the app is nice so you can just tuck the unit away unseen then connect and adjust to find the setting that suits you as an individual. For me so far I like sport 2. Thanks pedal commander for such a genius product!

Added the PC to my 2022 Macan S and it solved the throttle response issue while in regular/comfort mode (non-Sport mode). The car has plenty of power but I wasn’t pleased how much you need to “work” the throttle, in 1st & 2nd gear, to get into the boost.
The PC, with all the different settings, made the car react much quicker to my inputs. I first started out by using City +1 but it seemed a bit jumpy at tip-in. Then, switched to Sport -3. Seemed similar but without the jumpiness.

Install was a piece of cake. I was able to remove the factory plug without having to remove any trim pieces or the pedal itself. Maybe took 5 minutes.
Response and feedback was immediate. My wife is very happy with the upgrade and can confirm it gets rid of the lag that was our only complaint about the Macan.

As the son of an auto mechanic, I have been modifying cars for 30 years. From 60's Corvette's, to jacked up Wranglers, to my latest passion...all things Porsche, I have never had a car that I can enjoy without tinkering with something.
My most recent add to the fleet was a barely used 2017 Porsche Macan GTS. With ~365HP from a twin turbo V6 and the PDK transmission, I thought it was nearly perfect as-is. But I did struggle with some lag on initial throttle input and assumed this was just something I'd have to live with. Until one day I read on a Macan forum that EVERYONE was putting in a Pedal Commander. After installing (which took me about 30 minutes from start to finish with nearly all of the time spent removing/reinstalling the gas pedal assembly bolt) I can honestly say, it is the BEST $300 I have EVER spent on a mod/part. It has completely transformed the car and taken it to the next level.
The ability to completely dial in the throttle input perfectly is a game changer. Finding the right combination of the car's native modes (Sport, Sport+, etc.) in concert with the Pedal Commander's modes is addictive and upon finding the sweet spot, exhilarating.
In ~ 3 hours of seat time, I've determined that the best combination for every day driving (for me) is car in Sport Mode and Pedal Commander in City with the +2 adder. This seems to keep the revs in the right range and the pedal response in the optimum mode for around town mostly spirited driving. Of course, when I get out to the open rural roads, I'll dial it up to full on Sport +, Sport + which takes the car to a whole other level. (The app works great BTW. I keep the Pedal Commander itself tucked up under the dash for a clean install and adjust everything via the app as my phone is always nearby).
Trust me, if you're considering buying this for a Macan S/GTS you cannot go wrong. For other cars, if the experience is similar you won't be disappointed. I typically never right reviews, but this is one of the best mods I've ever done and for such little money, the value is unquestionable.
