SEMA Industry Awards Banquet Venue is Changed

The SEMA Show is defined as an aftermarket industry trade show, but that is an underestimation. It is the annual celebration of the global automotive and vehicle customization scene. The event showcases anything from simple performance upgrades to wild custom builds by independent shops and auto manufacturers.
But the SEMA Show kicks off with one prestigious event before anything else. The SEMA Industry Awards Banquet celebrates specialty equipment, and the aftermarket industry, and SEMA awards are also presented at the event. It is “the aftermarket night of the year,” and this year was no less exciting. The event has been held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, and this year was the last time after around 40 years. The banquet, traditionally hosted for over 20 years by Jarod DeAnda, was packed with entertainment, surprises, and great food, and we witnessed several prestigious awards being revealed.
Prestigious Awards Presented at This Year’s Banquet
One of the awards presented at the banquet was the SEMA Content Creator of the Year Award. ChrisFix received the award this year for his incredible YouTube channel with over 10 million subscribers that helps people how to fix their cars. Robert E. Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award was another prestigious one, and the legendary NHRA top fuel and funny car racer Don Prudhomme received it this year. Colby McLaughlin, president of Trim Illusion Inc., received this year’s SEMA Person of the Year Award for his exceptional contributions to the aftermarket industry.

For the sixth consecutive year, we were honored with the SEMA Data Excellence Award. The award honors brands annually for their commitment to data proficiency by delivering the best product for retailers and resellers in the SEMA Data network. Pedal Commander is recognized as one of the excellent brands that meet SEMA’s requirements once again, and earned the 2024 SEMA Data Excellence Gold.
Where Will the 2025 SEMA Industry Awards Banquet Be Held?
This year’s SEMA Industry Awards Banquet took place at the Paradise Event Center of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, as it has always been for around 40 years. After this many years, the venue has been changed for the next year’s event. The Fontainebleau Resort Las Vegas is now the place for the SEMA banquet.
Oozing with luxury and exceptional quality, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the tallest hotel in Las Vegas and the longest-awaited resort on the Strip. The Miami-Chic resort opened its doors in December 2023. The Fontainebleau offers immense luxury, massive open spaces, and a 550,000 sq. ft. convention space spanning five floors. The venue features over 30 fancy restaurants, bars, a food hall, and an over 150,000 sq. ft. casino area.
The Fontainebleau is located at the northern end of the Vegas Strip, right next to the Las Vegas Convention Center, across the street from the Convention Center’s West Hall North Lobby entrance. The venue is the official event partner for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, so the resort is no stranger to offering first-class experience and entertainment for adrenaline-pumping automotive events.
From 2025 onwards, the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet will be held in the Fontainebleau’s convention space.
